Michael Bernard Judson peacefully passed away on February 1, 2021 at Medical Center Arlington. He was born December 4, 1964 to Edward and Marilyn Judson in Rapid City, SD and is the youngest of three brothers.
Mike lived and grew up in many different places around the world due to his father being in the Air Force. After many years of traveling the world and getting into Lord knows what kind of trouble with his older brothers, the family settled in Arlington, Texas; here he met and married Kellie Midgett. Shortly after, they were blessed with two beautiful children, Michael and Haley. Although they later divorced, they maintained an everlasting bond and cared deeply for their children.
Mike fought many demons throughout his life but found a way to escape said demons through his love of art and gardening. Mike was an avid artist, freelance drawer and passionate gardener. His bedroom walls were engulfed with his talent, and of course posters of his favorite American rock band, KISS. We would often find Mike helping his family and neighbors maintaining or revamping their garden into an aesthetic creation.
Mike was also a Dallas Cowboys fanatic and proudly sported his jersey during every game; you may have even heard him consoling his team a time or two.
Despite his medical disability, Mike worked odd jobs here and there to make ends meet as much as possible. He did things from mowing lawns to checking in cars at an auction to repairing small household items.
When Mike's precious grandchildren came into this world, his demons seemed to diminish and his life forever changed. He found what he had been missing for a while, his smile.
Mike is survived by his mom and dad, Edward and Marilyn Judson; brothers, Edward and Robert Judson; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jessica Judson; daughter and soon so be son-in-law, Haley Judson and Justin Hoffine; ex-wife, Kellie Midgett Judson; aunt and uncle, Patti and Jerry Hogan; grandchildren, Micah, Janna, and Austin; any many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mike you are deeply loved, missed and will forever remain in our hearts. Until we reunite, may your heart and soul rest easy in Heaven.
