Melissa Anne Hall

Melissa Anne Hall, 53, of Arlington, Texas, passed from this world on November 22, 2022. She was born in San Bernardino, California, in 1969. Missy, her brothers, mother, and Marine Corps stepdad Wally moved to Savannah, Georgia, in 1972. This started a lifelong journey of living in many places across the United States and the world. She was a 1987 graduate of Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas, where she played the clarinet in the Honor’s Band. She earned an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1999. Missy enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1991. She achieved the rank of sergeant when she received her honorable discharge in 1995. She proudly served in the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and was stationed in Saudi Arabia and Turkey during her tenure in the United States Air Force.

Missy married Mathew Hall while in the Air Force, and later their baby boy, Blaine, was born in 1995. Missy and Blaine returned to her hometown of Arlington, Texas, where she worked for Dickie’s in the IT department. Missy advanced her career and worked as a web developer for several companies, such as ThinkFinance and LifeSync.

Missy had a small jewelry-making business named Teal Gypsy. She loved making jewelry and had a passion for Mexican and Native American silver and turquoise jewelry. She had many canine pets over the years and was passionate about animal rights. She often said, “Love me, love my dogs.” Her last dog, Brindle, was cremated with her. She was a champion and inspiration to her friends and family.

Missy is predeceased by her birth father, George T. Finkle, Jr., and her beloved stepfather Wallace E. Ewell. She is survived by her son, Blaine Stephen Hall (Kisha); grandsons, Sage Edmund and Rayne William; mother, Judith Lee Ewell; brothers George T. Finkle, III (Jerry) and James Roy Ewell (Dorrie); and best friends the Gypsy Soul Sisters, Stephanie Bennett Noffsinger and Carrie Combs.

A memorial visitation will be held at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington in Belle Hall on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on March 3, 2023, at 10:30 AM. Please arrive at 10:15 AM for vehicle lane line up.
