FORT WORTH -- Melba Pauline Gideon, 95, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, in Bedford.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pauline was born Aug. 17, 1919, in Fort Worth to L.Z. Clement and Daisy Helen Conner Clement. Pauline was a devoted mother and wife. They were married over 60 years. Her husband was a minister of the gospel to those in prison. She was a Sunday school teacher and had a passion for being purposeful for her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Albert Gideon, on Aug. 9, 1999; and grandsons, James Gideon and Stephen Leake.
Survivors: Son, Leonard Albert Gideon Jr.; daughters, Martha Jean Leake, Rosemary Gardner, Mildred Pauline Gideon, Rebecca Ann Gideon and Paula Marlene Barnhill; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
