Marylee Keith, 99, passed away on August 16, 2024, in Mansfield, Texas. Born on March 8, 1925, in Flora, Illinois, to C. Lee Griffin and Bertha G. Brian Griffin, Marylee lived a life full of love, laughter.

Marylee was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She was a talented dancer, known for her grace and joy on the dance floor. A proud Rangerette at Kilgore College, Marylee’s love for dance and music, especially big band tunes and ballroom dancing, remained with her throughout her life.

She was a voice major, sharing her passion for music as a children’s choir director, nurturing young voices with care and dedication. Marylee’s patriotism was evident in her life’s journey, as she traveled and lived across the globe with her beloved husband, James A. Keith, in the U.S. Air Force. Together, they made homes on various military bases, embracing each new adventure with enthusiasm.

Athletic and active, Marylee loved clogging, playing tennis and pickle ball.

Marylee loved watching all kinds of sports, working in her flower garden and was also an avid shopper.

Marylee is survived by her three children; Sandra Keith Gosch (Richard), Gregory Scott Keith (Linda), and Kimberly Keith Wilmoth (Kevin). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Gregory Scott Gosch, Keith Martin Gosch, Jill Kristin Gosch, Christopher Charles Gosch, Kelly Keith Huth, Ryane Keith Willis, Logan Walker Wilmoth and Kevin Brooks Wilmoth. Great grand children: Gabrielle Rae Gosch, Abigail Lee Gosch, Gavin James Gosch, Aiden James Gosch, Everley Rose Gosch, Zoe Maeve Willis, Wilder Courage Huth, Arlo Bear Huth and Graham Kevin Wilmoth. A public visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 23. A graveside service will take place at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, with the date to be determined.

Marylee Keith, a small woman with a huge spirit will be remembered for her joy and love for the Lord. Her family is grateful for her legacy of faith, which continues to impact their lives daily. She lived fully, laughed often, and danced through life with a heart full of grace and gratitude.
