Mary Ann Conrad – born Mary Ann Salzman on April 2, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a first generation American born to German immigrant parents.
Mary Ann graduated from business school and met her future husband, Ross Conrad, on a blind date set up by her roommate. They were married for 54 years before his death.
Mary Ann had many interests, one of which was genealogy. She spent many years researching both of her parents' family histories and that of her husband Ross. This interest led her to her involvement with the Arlington Public Library and Fort Worth Public library Genealogy sections and her association with the Arlington Genealogy Society of which she was president for many years.
Mary Ann also loved to garden. She always had beautiful flowers and plants in her gardens and was an avid follower of Neil Sperry.
She is survived by her daughters Diane Conrad England, Karen Conrad, granddaughter Alexandra England, and son-in-law Kevin England.
