Mary Ofelia Stewart, 90, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Grapevine. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, at the funeral home. Mary was born on November 2, 1930 in San Miguel, New Mexico to Melaquias Madrid and Estefanita Ortega Madrid. She graduated from Robertson High School in Las Vegas. Mary worked as a secretary at the VA Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Alfred Stewart Jr. on October 8, 2010, sons Robert Stewart and David Stewart Survivors: Son, Charlie A. Stewart, III; daughters, Toni McVay, Charlotte Grimes and Jeannette Slack; brothers, Gene Madrid, Bobby Madrid and Ray Madrid; sister, Maggie Raymont; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
