Mary Nell Knowles

Mary Nell Knowles, 92, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Arlington. Graveside Service: 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 11, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Mary Nell was born on August 16, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Herman Lewis Ueckert and Leila Wellons Ueckert. A longtime Arlington resident, she was a member of Good Shepherd Methodist Church. She loved playing bridge and was a member of 2 different local bridge clubs. Mary Nell also loved to dance. She danced twice a week with the Arlington Senior Citizens. Mary Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Knowles; granddaughter, Abby Stubbs; and 4 siblings. Survivors: Son, Tommy Knowles and wife, Kim; daughter, Vicki Stubbs and husband, Tom; brother, Wayne Ueckert; grandchildren, Matt Stubbs, Zachary Knowles and wife, Abby, Kate Bents and husband, Paul; 5 great-grandchildren and one-on-the-way!
