Mary Margaret Mccoy

Mary Margaret Baughman McCoy, 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in Burleson, Texas. A memorial service for Mary will be on Sunday, May 5, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, Texas 76013. Donations may be made in Mary's honor to the Alzheimer's Association - North Central Chapter, (817-336-4949). Mary was born on December 12, 1958, in Arlington, to George and Anna Marie (Rif) Baughman. Mary enjoyed life and teaching others. She loved to work with kids and young people, whether it was in gardening, scouts, Vacation Bible School or Sunday School. Mary was a Master Gardener and spent many days at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens working with kids in the Children's Garden. She was active in church and loved being involved in Vacation Bible School, church camp and teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed the times when her sons, Greg and Mike, were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts by being a den leader and helping in earning merit badges. Mary was always physically fit and loved to walk, participate in aerobic classes and work out in the gym. She and Randy took dance lessons and they would spend many evenings working on their Country Western dancing or ballroom dancing where she could listen and dance to her favorite singer, Frank Sinatra. She had such a positive influence on so may people, in so many ways and will truly be missed by all. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Baughman. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randy McCoy; sons, Gregory McCoy and wife, Tawna and Mike McCoy and wife, Elona; brothers, Bobby Baughman and wife, Judy, Jerry Baughman and wife, Belinda. Jim Baughman and wife, Joy and Kenny Baughman and wife, Sharon; sisters, Kathy Blesi and husband, Johnny and Jeannie Bosillo and husband, Wayne; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
