Mary "Kathye" Kotarski

Mary “Kathye” Hammer Kotarski, 73, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, April 24, 2023 in Arlington.

Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with a visitation beginning at 6 p.m. prior to the service.

Kathye was born on December 22, 1949 in Tampa, Florida and was raised in New Mexico. She and her family moved to Texas in 1986. She worked as a medical insurance agent. Kathye loved to sew and crotchet. She enjoyed watching birds, squirrels and turtles. She dearly loved her children and enjoyed doting on her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Survivors: Husband of 42 years, Howard Kotarski; daughter, Barbara Mendoza; son, John Michael Pharr; grandchildren, Brett Vitrano, Bryce Vitrano, Levon Pharr and Michael Pharr Jr.; great-grandchildren, River, Jessica, Owen, Ryker, Loren and Keith; brother, John Hammer; and sister, Sue Dunn.
