Mary Juanita Bumgardner

Juanita Bumgardner, 94, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Arlington.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Park Springs Bible Church, 5515 Park Springs Blvd., Arlington.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Juanita was born on December 27, 1927 in Gainesville, Texas to W.M. Lowell Hair and Edna May King Hair. A resident of Arlington since 1960, she was a member of Park Springs Bible Church. Juanita was an exhibition ballroom dancer from 1990-2010. She loved to travel and took her entire family on a trip to Branson, Missouri.
A cancer survivor, Juanita was a prayer warrior and always helping others. She donated money to numerous charities including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Salvation Army.
She loved researching genealogy. Juanita enjoyed baking for others and was famous for her almond cakes and blueberry delight desserts. She enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music and loved art. Her favorite color was blue.
Juanita dearly loved her family and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna May King Whitson; father, W.M. Lowell Hair; sisters, Minnie Virginia Hair Talley, Frances Hair Maxwell, Florence Hair Ball, Aleta Ramona Huddleston Wolfenbarger, Mary Sarah Ann Huddleston Duncan McMillin; brothers, Edward Hair, Robert Amos “Sie” Hair, William Lowell “Dood” Hair and Johnny David “Wap” Hair.
Survivors: Sister, Sandra Loretta June Brewer; sons, Alf Reeves Bumgardner Jr., Don Alan Bumgardner and wife, Connie Bea; grandchildren, Dustin Reeves Bumgardner, Amy Faith Jameson, Jerame Don Bumgardner and Jake Alan Bumgardner; great-grandchildren, Jett Kale Jameson, Aero Flynn Jameson, Ras Alan Bumgardner, Aidan Gideon Bumgardner, Oliver Don Bumgardner, Vanida Bea Bumgardner, Jake Tyler Bumgardner, Jordin Bea Bumgardner and Jemma Lee Bumgardner; and numerous other family members and friends.
