Mary Jo Dellis

Mary Jo Dellis, 84, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, at Lake Church, 2912 Little Rd., Arlington, 76016. Private Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Mary was born on October 20, 1936 in Fort Worth to Carl Pierce and Eula Mae Klutts Pierce. She retired as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company/ATT. There was not anything that her husband, Randy, did that she did not do with him. She had a fear of water until he got involved and taught her to swim, scuba dive and more. Later on, Randy got involved in flying, and although she was afraid of heights, she started flying with him. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Debra Lynn Dellis. Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Randy Dellis; daughters, Sherry Dellis and Donna Allison and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Michael Roberts and Kim, Christopher Roberts, Melissa Roberts; great-grandchild, Peyton Roberts; and Mary's dog.
