Mary Evangeline Hardie

Mary Evangeline Hardie, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Memorial Visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday, August 31st 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. Mary was born on December 29, 1938 in Spencer, North Carolina to Thelbert and Mary (Jones) Barbour. Mary was raised in Wilson, North Carolina, where she married her husband, Wallace. The family moved to Arlington in 1974. She attended Woodland West Church of Christ. She was an avid baseball fan, and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. She was a caring grandmother and especially loved taking care of her grand and great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace E. Hardie, Sr. in 2007. She is survived by her children, Butch and wife, Debbie Hardie, Cindy and husband, Bailey Ellis, Spencer and wife, Cindy Hardie, Mark and wife, Gwen Hardie and Scott and wife, Rebecca Hardie; one brother, James Barbour and wife, Janice twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
