Mary Ella Jones

Mary Ella Jones, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm (Noon), Wednesday, February 5th, at the Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas. Mary will be laid to rest in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation is from 11:00am to 12:00pm Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Mary was born Mary Ella Maeger on October 15, 1933 in Gadsden, Alabama to Frank and Ina Robinson Maeger. Mary was the matriarch of her family and kept everyone united. An avid sports fan, Mary loved the Dallas Cowboys and especially her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. Mary played bridge and bingo, and stayed very active, even into the final years of her life. A very social person, there wasn't an activity she wouldn't participate in, and she loved life. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David Franklin Jones; her son, David Jones and her daughter-in-law, Jana Jones. Mary is survived by her sons, Kevin Jones and wife, Christine; Jeff Jones and Walta Ebert; Ransom Jones and wife, Jan; her daughters, Staci Bell and husband, Eric; Karen Green and husband, Mike; her grandchildren, Shelby Jones, Alexa Jones, Tori Jones, Brad Marek, Jordan Jones, Taylor Jones, Christopher Jones, Alexandra Jones, Lindsey Bell, Cohen Bell, Connor Bell, Lance Howard, Bryan Jones, Steven Jones, Kory Jones and Michael Jones, and her seven great-grandchildren.
