Marlin was born on November 14, 2000, in Fort Worth, TX to Marlin Fredrick Patterson and Jenecia Green Patterson. He was the second oldest of his mother’s four children. Marlin had a big personality and a bunch of charisma. He spent his time connecting with others most of the time by telling jokes and sharing stories. When he took time to himself, that is when he could dive into learning about the world around him. He loved to talk about the world around him and what new things he was taking an interest in. Marlin was such a thoughtful and giving friend, brother, and son. For a lot of people, he was a genuine friend that they could count on. Marlin was a sweet baby, an energetic kid, and grew into a confident young adult. He was many things including a son, brother, nephew, and cousin. He had many characteristics including being expressive, independent, and hilarious. Marlin was many things to many people but most importantly he was and still is loved by all who had an opportunity to interact with him.

Marlin lived the perfect example of why relying on Jehovah our Creator is needed for peace and righteousness. May we look to Jah to better ourselves and others. 1Peter 5:7; Jeremiah 10:23; Revelation 21:3,4 John 5:28,29

Marlin is survived by his mother, Jenecia Green Patterson, his siblings, Jamyia Barrett, Robert Justice, and Tuesday Justice, his father’s children Kayama, Patrick and Lamar Patterson as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marlin is preceded in death by his father, Marlin Fredrick Patterson.
