Mark Dominic Roath, 57, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Arlington.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, at Woodland West Church of Christ, 3101 W. Park Row Drive, Arlington. Graveside Service: 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 3, at the church.

Mark was born on July 22, 1964 in Abilene, Texas to Cecil Roath Jr. and Sandra Hodges Roath. He married Tammy Hay on July 12, 1998. Mark served as Master Sergeant for the U.S. Air Force. He was the proudest of his service as a Desert Storm veteran during the Gulf War. He served two tours of duty in Afghanistan, two tours in Iraq, and countless other assignments during his 38 years of military service. Mark received numerous awards and accolades including Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation, several Outstanding Unit Medal Awards, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon.
Mark enjoyed woodworking, especially making clocks and pens. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Cecil J. Roath; and uncle, Harold Boyd.
Survivors: Beloved wife of 23 years, Tammy Hay Roath; sons, Josh and wife, Brianna, Thomas, and Matthew; step-daughters, Stephanie and Rachel; mother, Sandra Hodges Roath; siblings, Daryl and Terri; and three grandchildren, Marleigh, Milo and Madalynn.
