Mark Anthony Thompson

Mark Anthony Thompson, 59, of Arlington, TX, passed away on October 18, 2023. He was born on December 31, 1963, in Laramie, Wyoming. Mark was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and son who left us all too soon. Mark was a devoted family man, and his love for his son Justin, daughter Samantha, daughter-in-law Jade, and two grandsons, Troy and Graeson was unwavering.

Mark’s family was his greatest joy in life. He poured his heart into caring for his family and took great pride in being a loving father and doting grandfather. He is survived by his children Justin Thompson (Jade Thompson) and Samantha Thompson, grandchildren Troy and Graeson Thompson, beloved mother Beverly Thompson, along with his sisters, Nancy Baggett (Phillip Baggett), and Pam Thompson (Eric Thompson), nephew Carl Galyen, niece Amy Flores (Daniel Flores), great nephews Drayden and Samuel Flores, and great niece Olivia Flores. He is preceded in death by his father Joe Thompson and granddaughter Ava Thompson.

Mark attended Sam Houston High School and pursued a career as a machinist at Tidwell Tool. He was passionate about his work and took pride in his craftsmanship. In his free time, Mark enjoyed spending quality moments with his family. He took exceptional care of his dear mother, demonstrating his selflessness and commitment to those he cherished most. Their happiness brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. The family will gather to honor and remember Mark, celebrating his life and the impact he had on those around him.
