Margaret "Margo" Ellanora Woodward

ARLINGTON -- Margaret Ellanora "Margo" Woodward, 88, passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist Church, 313 North Center Street, Arlington, TX 76011. Margo was born May 22, 1926, to Walter Louis Sohns and Freida Richter Sohns. An Arlington resident for over 60 years, she was a member of First United Methodist Church. Margo retired in October 1983 as a credit manager from Dillard's. Margo loved to travel, gardening and dancing and was an awesome cook. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. "Woody" Woodward, in 1986. Survivors: Brothers, Walter Sohns Jr. and wife, Daisy, and Jerry Sohns and wife, Betty; sisters, Ruth Nowlin, Rose Galli and Kathy Holt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
