Margaret Ellen Thomas

Margaret Ellen Thomas of Arlington, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022 after a battle with Covid.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend to all. Born on July 13, 1947, she graduated from Shreveport School District in 1965. She went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech and earned her Master’s from L.S.U.
Margaret spent over 30 years in education as a teacher, Principal and Elementary Director. Margaret lived a life of exemplary service to education and family. She was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by everyone she touched.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Vena Thomas of Shreveport, La. and Sister, Pat Coleman also of Shreveport, La.
Survivors: Husband of 17 years, Bobby Jim Tarver; Son, Briar Buddecke; Daughter, Rebekah Buddecke; close Niece, Terry Kenny Iinorbe; Step-daughter, Kristy Tarver and family; Step-son, Brad Tarver and family.
