Margaret Eileen Gonce

Margaret Eileen Gonce,98, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2020 in Arlington, Texas. Margaret's service will be on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. Born at home in Lincoln, Nebraska, on July 8, 1922, Margaret was one of the "Greatest Generation", to John and Lottie (Johnston) Taylor. Margaret married Darrell Gunn in 1938 and had 4 children, Donna Shipp, Judith (Gene) Axelson, Margaret (Gerald) Lively and Russel Gunn. At the age of 33, she obtained her GED, graduated from Cosmetology school and became a beautician. In 1965, she married Walter Gonce, who brought 3 step-children, Peggy Lee, Paul and Martha (deceased). Walter was the love of her life. In retirement, they traveled extensively by RV and took trips abroad. One of their favorite trips was to the periodic Taylor Family Reunions with her large family. As a "Greatest Generation" woman of faith, she possessed creative talents and a great sense of humor. She was greatly loved by her family and many friends. She is one of 5 siblings, survived only by her sister, Grace Bock, 6 children, 7 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She and Walter will be interred at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
