Mamie Hyepock, 92, passed away on April 29, 2023, in Corbin, KY.
Mamie was was born in Celeste, Texas on February 11, 1931 to her parents, Tom A. Pannell & Mattie Blisset. She was one of 6 children.
After graduating high school, Mamie married her soul mate, Wade Hyepock, and together, they traveled the world during his 20 year service in the Air Force. They had one child, their beloved son, Larry Gene Hyepock. After Wade’s retirement from the military, they settled first in Phoenix, Arizona and then traveled back to TX to happily live out Wade’s remaining years in Arlington.
Mamie was a member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church in Arlington, TX for many years and then transferred her letter to West Corbin Baptist church after Wade’s death, when she moved to Corbin, KY, to be cared for by family.
Mamie is survived by her only grandchild, Jamie Hyepock Curry (Ryan Curry); three great-grandchildren, Annabelle Koen Callahan (Daryl Callahan), Dylan Koen, and Ella Curry; as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Mamie is now in heaven with loved ones preceding her in death, including her parents; son, Larry Gene Hyepock; and husband, Billy Wade Hyepock.
A Graveside Service for Mamie will be held May 11, 2023, 2:00 pm at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
