Lynn Marie Vogt, 48, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Lynn was born on August 3, 1972 in Lewiston, New York to Thomas Richard Vogt and Barbara Ann McDougall Vogt. She attended Martin High School and graduated from Cassata High School and Tarleton State University with a BS in Equine Science.
Lynn discovered a love of horses when she was 11 years old and it became the driving force in her life. After high school, she worked on horse farms in Wisconsin and California before returning home to attend Tarleton State University. During her college years she began working at Tamar Arabians in Weatherford where she was the breeding manager for more than 25 years, breeding and foaling hundreds of award-winning Arabian horses. She was a much loved member of the Tamar Arabian farm family.
Lynn enjoyed gardening, managed two tropical fish tanks, and had become a creative cook. She loved her border collies and cats and knew the personalities of 100's of horses. Lynn also volunteered with CASA as a court appointed advocate for the best interest of abused or neglected children of Parker county.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John E. and Catherine E. Vogt, and James E. and Olga McDougall.
Survivors: Parents, Thomas R. and Barbara Vogt; brother, Todd R. Vogt; sister-in-law, Dr. Amy Hoyumpa Vogt; and niece and nephew, Zoe E. Vogt and Adam T. Vogt.
