ARLINGTON -- Lynn Herman Henson, 77, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Arlington. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 1:00 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane A. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Lynn was born on August 25, 1936 in Veribest, TX to Sherman Henson and Willie Mae Barber Henson. He was raised in Gustine, TX and served in the U.S. Army. An Arlington resident for the past 37 years, he previously lived in Fort Worth. Lynn retired after 20 years of service as a Maintenance Foreman for Book Covers of Dallas. Lynn enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Peggy Henson; daughters, Rebecca Hinkle and husband, Steve, Diana Evans and husband, Buddy; brother, Milton Henson and wife, Betty; sister, Mojie Hapgood; grandchildren, Rachel Pike, Jared Evans, Elizabeth Atwood and husband, Michael; and great-grandson, Landon Pike.
