Lydia Naomi Piveral

June 25, 1935 — April 9, 2020

Lydia Naomi Walter Piveral (age 84) of Arlington Texas has completed her final journey. She was called home by our heavenly Father on April 9th, 2020. Lydia was born on June 25th, 1935 to Henry and Retta Walter in Tarkio Missouri. Lydia's early life was spent enjoying days on the family farm with her seven brothers and two sisters. She graduated Tarkio High school in 1953. While attending North Western Missouri State in Maryville, Missouri, she met her future husband Kenneth Lee Piveral. Lydia and her sister Ella set out in 1955 to travel and see the country and spent that summer waiting tables in Steamboat Spring, Colorado. Lydia and Ken were married in 1956 in Carson City, Nevada and began their lives together in Stockton, California. They were blessed with four children, Pamela, Stephen, Karen and Stan. Lydia's adventures continued with Ken and the children, as they lived in a variety of places, including Rockford, Illinois, Oakdale, California, and St. Joseph, Missouri, before finally landing in Arlington, Texas. Lydia, along with Ken, understood what it took to make an ordinary life extraordinary and lived that life to the fullest. She worked with the Grace Lutheran Church quilting group providing quilts for Lutheran World Relief. She will be remembered as someone whose heart was big enough for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and any acquaintances that any of them brought through her door. Her kindness and support were appreciated more than she will ever know! She is united in Heaven with her husband, parents, brother's John, Tom, Albert, Hershel, Wayne, Duane, and Andy, sister Mary, and daughter Pamela. She is survived by two sons, Stephan Piveral and wife, Jan and Stanley Piveral; daughter, Karen Piveral; five grandchildren, (Summer, Andrew, Faith, Daniel and Lee) and four great-grandchildren, (Sky, Eliza, Nolan, and Axe); and her sister, Ella. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Lydia's name. Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233
