Lydia Ann Green

ARLINGTON -- Lydia Ann Green, 53, loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, in Sugar Land. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 5851 New York Ave., Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Memorials: SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, Texas. Lydia was born Feb. 11, 1960, in Deols, France, to Jack and Simone Pollet Jones. Lydia worked as a neonatal nurse for over 30 years at Harris Methodist Hospital. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and gardening. Lydia also spent time crafting and was an animal lover. She dearly loved her family. Lydia was preceded in death by her father. Survivors: Husband, Joel Green; daughters, Katherine Eaton and husband, Chris, and Rebecca Strommen and husband, Derek; mother, Simone Jones; grandson, Jackson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donald and Mona Kay Green; sister-in-law, Jana Garrison and husband, Greg; niece, Lindsay; nephew, Benjamin; and multiple family members living in France.
