Lucia Alicia Gonzalez Layman

Lucia Alicia Gonzalez Layman, age 62, passed away tragically on May 28, 2024, at her home in Arlington, Texas.  She was born on July 13, 1961, in Gardena, California.  She was predeceased by her parents Eduardo and Alicia Gonzalez and her brother Edward Gonzalez. She is survived by her sister, Rebecca Gonzalez who resides in North Maimi, Florida, and her son Benjamin Scott Layman who resides in Arlington Texas. She was a 1979 graduate of Katella High School in Anaheim California and acquired her associate degree from Fullerton College.  

She was a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant for 39 years.  

Lucy was devoted mother and beloved flight attendant who soared through life with grace and kindness. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Everyone loved Lucy. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished forever. Though gone too soon, her spirit will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
