With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Lewellyn, 89, of Fort Worth, Texas, who left this world on February 17, 2025. Born in Bluegrove, Texas on April 17, 1935, Ann was the cherished daughter of Luther and Lucille Truitt.

 Ann dedicated her life to her family, embodying the essence of a devoted homemaker and nurturing mother. She found profound joy in teaching others, having served as a secretary and English teacher, sharing her passion for literature and fostering a love of learning in those around her. She was a member of the Woodland West Church of Christ. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering and she was a Christian influence on many people her entire life.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Lewellyn Sr.; her son, Jess Lewellyn Jr.; parents, Luther and Lucille Truitt; brother, Wayne Truitt; and sister, Jane Kovarnik.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Debbie Hardie and husband, Butch Hardie; grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Caroline Hardie, Meggie Taylor, Ty Lewellyn, and Jack Lewellyn; great grandchild, Jasper Allen; brother, Jim Truitt; and many more family and friends.

She took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild, doting on them with love and positivity. Her warmth and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.

Ann Lewellyn touched the lives of many with her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
