Loretta Lee Newell

Loretta Lee Newell, 35, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2017 in Taylor, Texas from as-yet-unknown causes. Informal remembrance gatherings will be held Friday, November 10, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 11, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013. Born January 7, 1982 in Austin, Texas, she completed junior high school in Arlington and high school and college in Austin. Loretta had a wonderful sense of humor and loved working with people. She held many positions in the hospitality industry in Austin, Arlington and New York, as well as on a cruise ship based in Hawaii. She also adored animals, and at the time of her passing, worked at a pet supply store in North Austin. Loretta is survived by her parents, Dianna and Charles Angulo, Robert Newell and Kathy Spann; her sisters, Meredith Newell and Jacqueline Melendez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Michigan.
