Lon Junior Beagles

ARLINGTON -- Lon Junior Beagles, 83, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, in Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1301 W Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington. Interment: Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home. Lon was born April 1, 1930, in Antlers, Okla., to Lon and Otia Hale Beagles. He was an Arlington resident for the past 59 years where he was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired utilities supervisor for Dallas Power and Light/Texas Utilities. Lon loved the outdoors and traveling with his RV. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Dean Beagles; sons, Lynn Beagles and Lonnie Beagles and wife, Donna; sister, Mildred Stanley; grandchildren, Ben, Loren, Chelsea, Beau and Harrison; and great-grandchildren, Kristopher and Lilly.
