Lois Ann Williamson Stevens, 67, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on November 15th, 2017 in Dalworthington Gardens, Texas.
Ann was born in Magnolia, Arkansas to Fred (Sr.) and Lillian Williamson on October 31, 1950. She graduated from Magnolia High School in 1968. She went on to attend Southern State College and Henderson College. She later earned a degree in drafting and started her career at Mesco Metal Buildings. She went on to work for Patent / SGB Construction for many years in drafting, sales, and sales management.
Ann was a member of Fielder Church in Arlington Texas. Her hobbies included sewing, painting, baking, gardening, and woodworking. Her role as "Nana" made her the happiest. She enjoyed supporting her grandchildren, Andrew and Samantha, in all of their activities. She cherished all of their friends and took pleasure in being the famous "The Walking Dead watching grandmother".
Ann loved to play cards and dominoes and HATED to lose. She was addicted to Bluebell Ice Cream and would debate politics or talk about Jesus at the drop of a hat. She owned more tools than most men and had no need to ever purchase Christmas wrapping paper - instead she hand-painted the wrapping on Christmas gifts she gave.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lillian Williamson and oldest brother, Fred Williamson Jr.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Rachal Baxter (Jim) of Dalworthington Gardens, Texas, brother, Bob Williamson (Anni) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, grandchildren Andrew and Samantha Baxter, nephew Todd Williamson (Dawn), and niece Shannon Williamson.
Memorial service will be held at Fielder Church, 2011 S. Fielder Road in Arlington, Texas, on December 16th at 2:00 PM, with Jerry Morris officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National MS Society in Ann's memory.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Envoy Hospice, Lone Star Visiting Caregivers, numerous friends and members of Fielder Church who were the hands and feet of Christ for Ann through her 5 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
