Lois Evelyn Gardner

Lois Evelyn Green Gardner, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Pastor Bobby Bridges officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington, TX. Lois was born on June 9, 1937 in Preston Bend, Texas to Enos Lee Green and Deliah Wade Green. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who lived her entire life in Texas. She loved babies and after retiring from LTV, she became certified to care for children. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.D. Gardner, infant son, Henry Keith Owen, daughter Katherine Fay Owen, siblings Hubert Green and Donald Green. Lois leaves behind two daughters, Jacqueline Kay Ballard of Arlington and Susie Gail Melton and husband, Allen of Levelland, Texas; sisters, Jean Jones and Francis Willingham, sister-in-law, Janis Willingham; five grand children, Victoria Ballard Golding, Veronica Ballard, Steven Ballard and wife, Katie, Coby Gardner and Jeffrey Gardner, 12 great- grandchildren and many friends whom she loved deeply.
