We mournfully announce the passing of Lois Inman, 87, of Arlington, Texas. Lois passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024.

Lois, born in Humble, TX to Archie Bernard and Gertie Mae Nealy, took her first breath on July 25th, 1936. When Lois was little, she loved to play with her dolls and longed for a sister. Her wish came true when her baby sister, Esther Kay, was born and a lifelong bond was formed. Lois met her husband Ray, while she was in 1st grade, and they were married on May 24th, 1958. Soon after they had two boys David, born 1959 and Damon, born 1963. She moved with her family to Arlington in 1969 when Ray was transferred with Sun Oil Company. Lois worked for LTV and Practical Drawing and ended up retiring from Sun Oil Company. Lois and Ray were active members of the Square and Round Dance Association of North Texas for 14 years and she held many different roles within the association, Do Si Do-ing their way around the USA. Lois was a dedicated mother, pouring her love and wisdom into both her children, guiding them through life’s challenges with grace and compassion. She was very involved in her sons’ activities. This included being vital member of the Sam Houston High School Band Booster Club. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, as she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.
