Lois Ann Depweg

ARLINGTON -- Lois Ann Depweg, 85, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016. Lois Ann, daughter of William and Freda Gebhart, was born on February 10, 1931, in Hamilton, Ohio. Lois graduated from Hamilton Catholic High School and as a Registered Nurse from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinatti, Ohio in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Henry Depweg, in 1952 while he was in the Army. Lois and Richard moved to Texas in 1968 with their six children and were life long residents of Pantego. Lois worked as a registered nurse for Arlington Memorial Hospital for 32 years. She also worked as a part-time RN at The Greenhouse of Arlington where she cared for many famous people. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties for friends, family gatherings, listening to relaxing music, reading and writing letters to friends back in Ohio. Survivors: Launa Barboza and her husband, Darwin, Nanette McConnell and her husband, Bob, Emilie Burns and her husband, Ro, Adam Depweg, Amy Jackson, and Leonard Sylvester Depweg II and his wife, Kathleen; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
