Lisa Anne (Jablon) Dealy was born on October 16, 1971, in Arlington, Tx. to Jane Eleanor (Heide) Jablon and Joseph Richard Jablon. Lisa was the second of three siblings, with her older brother James Jablon and her younger brother Richard Jablon.
Lisa grew up in Arlington attending Blanton Elementary, Carter Jr. High, and Arlington High School. Growing up Lisa was active and loved being outside. Like many of her generation, in the summer she could be found on her bike with Richard and their neighborhood friends having adventures and misadventures. Lisa also loved sports. During her grade school years, she played soccer and softball and in jr. high Lisa played volleyball, basketball, and track even running hurdles for a time. Her stature did not deter Lisa from trying any sport and excelling at most. Lisa also was a cheerleader for her elementary school and jr. high schools.
Lisa attended college at Sam Houston State University where she graduated with a degree in Psychology. It was at SHHU where Lisa would meet the love of her life, David Dealy. Lisa and David began their romance while in Huntsville and would eventually marry on May 2, 1998. Lisa and David would spend the next 24 years together until his passing on May 23, 2022. During that time, Lisa and David would share their love of the outdoors by camping, hiking, and fishing. One of their favorite activities was kayaking with their dogs JC and Scooter who would never miss a trip. Lisa and David also shared a love of travel and took many trips together documenting their adventures on maps in their garage. Lisa was immersed into the Dealy family and if you did not know any better, you would have thought she was a blood relative growing up with the family. She always referred to her in-laws, Daivd and Allyn Dealy simply as mom and dad. One of Lisa’s most favorite places in the world was at Daivd and Allyn’s house referred to as the Farm. Lisa and David did not have any children, but she adored her nephews, and they were second only to David in her heart. She was Aunt Liver to the “Dealy Boys” as she referred to her nephews Gavin, Myles, Johann, and Mateo. She always wanted to be Fun Aunt Lisa to her nephews, Ryan and Austin. She wanted to help the nephews explore their world through her Christmas gifts of live frogs or other things that sparked imagination. She loved to take them to museums and to the outdoors. Lisa had told all of her nephews that she wanted to take each of them on a trip of their choice for college graduation, although she secretly hoped they would pick Europe.
On January 5, 2025, Lisa was traveling to the Farm when she was involved in a car crash. Lisa tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Lisa left behind her loving family and more friends that could be counted. She was loved by all and always had a smile on her face and a sunny disposition.
