Lindie Lawrence

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lindie Lillian Lawrence, the sweetest and most loving mom and friend to walk this earth, on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 67 in Arlington, TX surrounded by her loving family.

Lindie was born on Saturday November 30, 1957 in Texas City, TX, to Frank and Wanda Lawrence. Lindie grew up in beautiful Albuquerque, NM throughout her younger childhood before her family moved to Arlington, TX where she spent most of her life. She attended and graduated from Lamar High School in Arlington, TX in 1975. She then went to Texas Christian University briefly following high school before beginning her career in advertisement sales.

Lindie enjoyed painting, reading, decorating, shopping, listening to music, cooking, going to church, going to see movies and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the beach and always made an effort to go somewhere with a beach as often as she could. She had been a certified scuba diver when she was younger which made her fall in love with the ocean. She was a very hard worker and a devoted mother as a single parent who raised two daughters alone. She was beautiful, thoughtful, giving, funny, smart, courageous, stronger than most and had so many other truly amazing qualities.

Lindie bravely faced a long history with metastatic breast cancer, never letting go of hope. She maintained a positive, sunny outlook through it all, with a resilience that inspired everyone around her. Lindie’s compassionate spirit, her infectious laughter, and her ability to always see the humor in most situations were a gift to all.

Lindie is survived by her two daughters, Taylor Lawrence (Danny) and Carly Hinds (Zachary), four grandchildren, Paisley (13), Elsie (2), Zachary Jr. (2), and Lillie (1), her sister, Brooksie Terrell (Matt), and brothers, Pokey Lawrence (Kristen) and Bobby Lawrence (Nicole), and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lindie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Wanda Lawrence.

A funeral service will be held to honor Lindie’s life on Saturday, April 5, at 10:00am at Wade Funeral Home, 4140 W Pioneer Pkwy. Arlington, TX 76013. Burial will follow the funeral service at 12:00pm at Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd. Mansfield, TX 76063. There will not be a visitation before the funeral service.
