Linda Lee (Rankin) Loveless

Linda Loveless, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23 at her home in Arlington after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born on July 11, 1946 to Ray and Charlotte Rankin and raised in Niles, Ohio. After graduating from Niles McKinley High School in 1964, she enrolled at Kent State University where she met and married Philip M. Loveless in 1968. Linda graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and taught for several years.

Linda loved her family and was very strong in her faith. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom to her three children Kevin, Kirk and Jennifer. She was very active in their lives and activities. Linda enjoyed writing and had her own column in a local paper for several years. After her children were grown, she continued her Education and in 1997 she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Masters of Social Work. She had a passion for helping others and worked as counselor for over twenty years.

Linda was married to Phil for over 53 years. Together they loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, boating and vacationing at the beach and in the countryside of Hico, Texas.

Linda dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by Philip M Loveless (husband), Ray Rankin (Father) and Charlotte Rankin (Mother). She is survived by her loving children: Kevin Loveless of Grand Prairie, Kirk Loveless (wife Susan) of Granbury, Jennifer Loveless Hill (husband John) of Arlington, her four grandchildren whom she adored: Cameron, Ashley, Katelyn and Gavin, and her sister Sue Del Aguaro (husband Mike) of Knoxville, TN.
