Linda Baker

Linda Newton Baker, 71, went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023 at the Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington,Texas under hospice care.

Linda was born on November 11, 1951 in Canastota, NY, the daughter of the late Herman and Gladys (Niles) Newton. On July
4, 1985 she married the late Stewart P. Baker of Medina, NY. The couple made their home in Medina until moving to Arlington,
Texas in 2018. Linda was a stay-at-home mother and worked as a substitute teacher in many school districts.

Survivors include her son, Paul C (Meagan) Baker; grandson Graydon J. Baker; brothers James (Bonnie) Newton and Daniel
(Dawn) Newton; brother-in-law Stephen Baker; several nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Theresa Newton.

There will be no prior visitation hours. A graveside service will be held on June 24th at 11:00 AM at Lynhaven Cemetery in Lyndonville, NY with a luncheon following at Yates Baptist Church.

Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home in Medina, NY.
