Linda Ann Blackman (née Pyle), Age 64 of Fort Worth passed away peacefully at home early on September 25th, 2021.
Born April 22nd, 1957 at Yokota AFB in Japan to Maj. Charles Herbert and Florence Arlene Pyle, Linda spent her childhood in Japan, England, and various points in the US before settling in Arlington, TX till she graduated from Arlington High School, where she met husband Mark Blackman. Linda and Mark lived in Galveston, TX and St. Petersburg, FL before returning to and settling down in Arlington, TX to raise a family. A retiree of Tarrant County College, Linda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and pets.
Linda is survived by her husband Mark Blackman, daughter Amanda Blackman and son Jerod Blackman all of Fort Worth as well as sisters: Susan Rowell of Calgary Canada, Kathy Pyle of Arlington and Lori Robinson of Weatherford, and her beloved yorkies Annie, Hamish and Fitzgerald.
The family held a private memorial and has asked that in lieu of flowers to make donations to a local animal rescue, such as Parker Paws.
