ARLINGTON -- Lillian Rebecca Steele, 78, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4201 Little Rd., Arlington. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Allstar Hospice or Tate Springs Baptist Church 39ers. Lillian was born May 18, 1934, in Big Spring, to H.M. and Sue Tabor Rowe. Lillian was a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church. She briefly owned a wedding planning business, but was a homemaker for most of her life. Lillian enjoyed yard work, reading and serving and spending time with her family. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Steele; a brother; two sisters; and her parents. Survivors: Sons, David Steele and wife, Maxine, Donny Steele, Jerry Steele and wife, Marsha, and Tommy Steele and wife, Susan; daughter, Vickie Cunningham and husband, Jim; brothers-in-law, Don Steele and wife, Nancy, and Floyd Steele Jr. and wife, Gerry; sister-in-law, Norma Kimbrough; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
