Lewis Garland “L.G.” Sims, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 14, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church ABC Class Missions or the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org. L.G. was born on September 9, 1937 in Dallas to Ernest Garland Sims and Lelia Lewis Sims. He was a very talented and versatile artist. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Kyle Sims; and son-in-law, Denton Zebrowski. Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Sheila Sims; son, Aaron Gregory Sims and spouse, Christopher Graham; daughter, Alicia Zebrowski; grandchildren, Dylan Boyer and wife, Tracy, Matthew Boyer and William Clayton Sims and wife, Annalisa; great-grandchildren, Jack Boyer, Wyatt Boyer, Logan Sims and Madison Sims.
