ARLINGTON -- Leslie Burton "Les" Frazer, 53, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Arlington Baptist Church, 2912 Little Road, Arlington, with Dr. Eric Herrstrom, Dr. David George and Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Les was born on April 19, 1958, in Kansas City, Mo., to Lowell Burton Frazer and Juanita Owen Frazer. He graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth on May 14, 1982, and married on May 15, 1982, at Southcliff Baptist Church. Les was senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Scranton for 6 years and also pastored in churches in Kansas City and Lamar, Ark.
A resident of Arlington for the past 12 years, he was a member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church and a second-grade teacher at Bowie Elementary school in Grand Prairie. He loved clowning ministry with balloons for Mission Arlington, block parties and church. His clown name was Tiny with his wife, Sweetie Pie. Les was a children's lay minister with Kids Rock at Lake Arlington Baptist Church on Sundays.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Juanita Frazer.
Survivors: Wife, Kathy Estep Frazer; sons, Andrew Douglass Frazer and Timothy Aaron Frazer; sister, Lowella Eagan and husband, Roger; dogs, Riley and Timber; and a host of family and friends.
