Leon Russell, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his home in Arlington, Texas. Leon was born on June 26, 1948 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to Leola and Wymon Russell. Leon served in the U.S. Air Force, and enjoyed racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Gail Russell; brother, Donnie Brewer and sister, Jean Weatherford. Leon is survived by his wife, Shelly; three sons, Brady Russell and wife, Lindsey, Brandon Russell and wife Melissa and Matt Sopic; one daughter, Brie Fenton and husband, David; two sisters, Joyce Cicero and Mona Moore; six grandchildren, Kyleigh Fenton, Makayla Fenton, Makendall Fenton, Niki Russell, Evelyn Russell and Gabe Campisi.
