Lee Ann Kennedy

Lee Ann Kennedy passed away at her home in Arlington on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She was born on December 7, 1965 in Tampa Florida to John Joseph and Elizabeth Jean Murphy Etherington. A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16th, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Wade Family Funeral Home, on Tuesday evening, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Lee Ann was a deeply loved daughter, wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She greatly appreciated the support, love and care that she received from her husband, Gene. She had a special place in her heart for her mother and father - she loved them so dearly. She enjoyed growing up and making memories with her sister, Lori. Lee Ann was a lover of all animals, but especially all of her cats and her canine friend, Abby. She was a very talented crafter and gardener. She adored her granddaughter, Natalie and lit up at the sound of her voice! Lee Ann loved going to school at the University of Georgia and was a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs along with the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. She loved sunflowers, loved to listen to Prince's music, loved peace signs and sand dollars and loved her red Mustang, but above all, she loved her family. Lee Ann is preceded in death by her father, John Etherington. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Eugene "Gene" Kennedy; mother, Elizabeth Etherington; daughters, April Weatherread and husband, Brandon, and Katie Toole and boyfriend, Chris Bugh; sister, Lori Selman and husband, John; nephew, John "J.
