Leanne Reeves Sherrill

Leanne Reeves Sherrill passed away Friday, Dec. 21st, 2018 at Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center Dallas. She was surrounded by family and was holding her brothers hand when she passed (Dr. Tim Reeves). Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28th, 2018 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Animal Humane Society or a Charity of your choice. Leanne was born Nov.2nd, 1955 at Baylor Hospital Dallas. She was the only daughter of Dr. Robert Reeves and Gail Reeves Bennett. Leanne graduated from Cherry Creek High School, Denver, CO. She attended the University of Northern Colorado and earned her Business Management degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver! Leanne lived in Kansas City, KS, where she pursued a career with Burns & McDonald. Later in life Leanne, vacationed in Florida and fell in love with the Sanibel area. Eventually she moved to Ft Myers, FL. Where she became known as an expert in antiques and collectibles. She was also an expert in shelling, and a great cook. Leanne loved her brother, family, friends and her Shih Tzu dogs. Survivors: Her mother, Gail H. Bennett; brother, Dr. Tim Reeves; nieces, Taylor Bowen, Lauren Reeves; nephew, Brayden Reeves; aunt, Brenda and uncle, Jack Sutton; and her former husband, Bobby Joe Sherrill.
