Lawrence Scott Davis, 51, passed away January 13, 2021 in Arlington after his brave battle with lung cancer.
Scott was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1987. Scott enlisted in the United States Army in 1988. He served as a Military Police Officer in the 18th MP Brigade and was a combat vet deployed to Iraq during Operation Provide Comfort. Following his honorable discharge in 1992, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Tech. After many years of IT work, Scott started his Limousine Company that he was so proud of and continued until his death.
Scott was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, loved classic rock and to sing karaoke. Scott was an amazing son, husband, father, brother and friend. He was a gentle giant with a huge heart that always put others first. He was not only a military hero, but also a hero to his many friends and family.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 1:00 Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
Survivors: Wife, Aimee Davis; father, Robert Davis; mother, Emily Love; sons, Brandon Scott Davis and Joshua Trent Davis; and brother, Robert Christopher Davis.
