Lance Micah Pate Sr.

Lance Micah Pate Sr., 45, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Arlington, Texas.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Lance was born on December 10, 1977 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Michael Anthony Pate and Teresa Cole Pate. He grew up in California and resided there for 20 years. Lance proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a highly skilled aviation mechanic. Lance married the love of his life, Melinda Lee Weeks, and celebrated 16 years together.

Lance was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NY Yankees fan. He loved to cook and spend time with his friends and family. Lance loved to travel and go on vacation. He was a jokester with a great personality. Lance dearly loved his family and enjoyed going to his kids games. He loved his grandsons and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors: Parents, Michael and Teresa Pate; Wife, Melinda Pate; sons, Derrick Williams Jr., Michael Gray, Kamrhan Pate, Krystian Pate, Lance Pate Jr.; daughter, Kyah Pate; brother, Christopher Pate; grandchildren, Kaynen Pate and Axel Cortesio.
