Kyle William Pack

Kyle William Pack, 28, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, at his parent's home in Cleburne. Kyle was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Audie W. Pack and Willie Lee Thatcher; Grandmother, Marie Thatcher; Aunt, Patsy Miller and Uncle, Gary Lee Thatcher. He is survived by his Parents, Tony and Vickie Pack; Grandmother, Pearl Pack; Aunts, Dianna “Dida” Powell and Judy Thatcher; Uncle and Aunt, Nolen and Linda “Linnie” Janes, many cousins and more than his fair share of “brothers.” Although Kyle's life was tragically cut short, he lived a full life that for many it would take a lifetime to experience. Kyle was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 22, 1988, the son of Tony and Vickie Pack. Kyle grew up in Arlington, Texas. He was a sports enthusiast with his love for sports beginning during elementary school when he first played soccer and roller hockey. From there, Kyle went on to play baseball, where his dad coached him for many years. Kyle was a Miller Maverick playing football for Arlington Optimist. He continued playing sports while at Young Junior High and James Martin High School. Kyle was a 2007 graduate from James Martin High School. He attended Texas Tech University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. After graduating from college, Kyle followed in his father's footsteps and began his career in the oil and gas business. Kyle was able to experience the peak of the oil and gas industry while accomplishing many successes during his career working in the Eagle Ford Trend. Traveling with family and friends was one of Kyle's favorite things to do. He was very well traveled for a man his age experiencing wonderful memories from California, Chicago, Florida, the Caribbean and Central America, to name a few. Kyle was also an avid hunter. He enjoyed his annual hunting trips, as well as, larger trips with his father and friends. From hunting white tail deer and turkey in south Texas to mountain lions in Idaho to exotic plains game in South Africa, Kyle was beside those he loved most enjoying one of his favorite hobbies. Despite all of Kyle's accomplishments, he developed a drug addiction. His parents, family, and friends provided constant support and encouragement to Kyle to help him through his addiction. Kyle had recently completed a second stint in rehab. He had been sober for three months until his addiction became stronger than his willpower. Kyle's parents ask that you consider a donation to Summer Sky in lieu of flowers. Visitation Monday, November 6, 2017, at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, TX, from 6-8:00 PM. Services will be held Tuesday, November 7th, 1PM at Lake Arlington Baptist Church.
