Kyle was born in Minnesota on May 25, 1960. He moved to Texas and began a career in the vertical lifting industry specializing in tower crane and hoist sales, rentals, erections and dismantles. His hard work paid off and the Lewis name became known near and far throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. An icon in the industry, he pioneered technology and innovation breakthroughs. Kyle loved to ride his Harley, race Porsches, and hang out with friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lewis.
Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Diane Lewis; beloved son, Logan Wade Lewis; mother of his son, Melissa Lewis; brothers, Kirk Lewis and Keith Lewis; sister, Kristie Lewis; nieces, Hayley Lewis-Shockley and Kara Lewis; nephews, Nick Lewis and family, Garrick Lewis and Zachary Lewis; and countless extended family and friends.
