Kim Marie Haack

Kim Marie Haack age 66 of Arlington, Texas passed away Friday evening, April 26, 2024 at Medical City Arlington with her husband by her side.
She was born November 6, 1957 in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Paul and Laura (Ringler) Bowdish. Kim has resided in Sturgis, Michigan, Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Centralia, Illinois, and for the past 23 years in Arlington, Texas.
On May 13, 1978 she married Curtis Haack in Sturgis, Michigan and he survives.
Kim had been employed by several companies over the years, including Kmart and the Kirsch Corporation in Sturgis, Allen Stevens in Pennsylvania, and Bledsoe Brace and Abeo in Texas. She was currently employed by Accreda Healthcare Management in Dallas.
Kim enjoyed sodoku puzzles, word Searches, playing Rack-O with her granddaughter, and playing Slotomania on her phone. Her favorite thing to do was spend time at home with her husband, children, grandchildren, and dogs, Jack and Buddy. She was a self proclaimed homebody, but that’s what she loved the most. You could find her almost any given evening or weekend in her spot on the couch, curled up in a blanket, watching one of her favorite reality tv shows, like Survivor and Big Brother, or an old classic comedy.
Kim is survived by her husband of 46 years, Curtis, One daughter; Melissa (Haack) George of Arlington, Texas, One son and daughter-in-law; Ben (Jennifer) Haack of Alvarado, Texas, and One Son-in-law Jeffery George of Granbury, Texas, Two Granddaughters; Kaitlyn George of Ottawa, Kansas and Lindsey George of Arlington, Texas; special cousin Nancy Purcell and husband John of Sturgis, Michigan; Brothers and Sisters in law, Lt. Col (Ret) Joseph (Roxanne) Haack of Florida, Jim (Karen) Haack of Michigan, and Jody Haack of Michigan; nephew Dustin (Abby) Haack of Maine, Jordan Haack of Michigan, Michael Haack of Florida, Samantha (Joseph) Stewart of Japan, and Connor Haack of Florida. She is also survived by several cousins and friends of her children that have called her “Mom” over the years. Her parents, brother Douglas Bowdish, sister Kristin Bowdish, Curt’s parents Arlene Haack, LaMont and Marilyn Haack, Brother in law Cliff Haack, and grandson Jantzen Manlove all preceded her in death.
