Kenneth Daniel Roberson

PANTEGO -- Kenneth Daniel Roberson, 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with Rev. Linden Damschroder officiating. Kenneth was born on August 14, 1927 in Cimarron, KS to Ernest Howard Roberson and Myrtle Eunice Magourik Roberson. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a contract administrator in the aviation industry. Kenneth volunteered at elementary schools tutoring; and for Meal on Wheels. He was a member of the Methodist Men and ABC Sunday School class at Trinity United Methodist Church. He was also past Commodore of the Arlington Yacht Club. He loved sailing, water and snow skiing, and travel. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Mark Roberson. Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Mary Roberson; son, Alan Roberson and wife, Jeanmarie; daughter, Dana McPherson and husband, Douglas; sisters, Ruth King and Ernestine Reis; sister-in-law, Pauline Roberson; grandchildren, Laura, Cameron, Michael, Haley and Elizabeth.
