Kenneth Ray Schroeder

Kenneth Ray Schroeder, 77, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Ken was born December 3, 1943 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, and after traveling the world as a military brat, made Arlington his home since 1971. He graduated from Texas A & M and was a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 1966. Ken made his career in pharmaceutical and medical equipment sales. Ken's favorite pastime in retirement was loving and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors: wife of 55 years, Alice Schroeder; daughter Karen Schroeder Evans and husband Brian, of Mansfield, and son Dan Schroeder and wife Kristina, of Arlington; grandchildren Alex Tabary, Preston Schroeder and Jessica Tabary; siblings Judy Carr, Duane Schroeder and Sharon Venable. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Ruby Schroeder of Arlington. The family is celebrating Ken's life at a private service. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the USO at DFW Airport in honor to all servicemen and servicewomen.
